In early 2017, I started a blog called Of Dollars and Data with the goal of publishing one post a week. I was working in litigation consulting, but I wanted to combine my data skills with personal finance and investing. I believed that using data would make my arguments more credible. The first year was tough, with little feedback and occasional negative comments. However, I kept going and learned that silence is the most disappointing sound of failure.
