How to Reorganize Your Technology Organization
Instead of waiting for problems to worsen and implementing massive reorganizations, it's better to continuously reorganize and make subtle shifts in staffing. This applies to re-architecting from monolith to microservices as well. Solving problems piecemeal may not be the best approach. We need to rethink the system and not just focus on what's in front of us. Hoping for things to work out is not a strategy. We need a plan to address the paper cuts and foster collective ownership.
