Fixing the Broken Image

The theologians realized that if Adam broke the image, only he could fix it, but humans are incapable of fixing themselves. God sent his son to be sacrificed as the solution. The narrative portrays Adam as too broken to be fixed, symbolizing all of humanity's inability to repair themselves. The Quran, however, portrays Adam's repentance as accepted by God, signifying redemption and restoration.
