Leadership is not about title or tenure

Leadership should not be based on title or tenure, but on the realization that everyone has a responsibility to help the team move towards its goals and look out for one another. Embracing a leadership mentality and realizing the opportunity to have a positive impact on others is more important than holding a specific title. In extreme environments, the main lessons learned can be applied to help leaders be at their best.
