This framework should provide clarity about all the obligations in your life and help you visualize and manage your workload. The goal is not to simply optimize your time and handle the same workload that burnt you out before, but rather to gain clarity about what is on your plate and what is reasonable. A good productivity system can give you the confidence to advocate for yourself and set boundaries. Rejecting productivity can have negative consequences as it aligns with what your employer wants, ironically.
