Being present with children while not directly engaging with them can create opportunities for meaningful conversations and insights. Taking walks, car rides, or being the 'Uber driver' on weekends can provide chances for children to open up. Engaging in activities where there is no pressure for conversation can lead to spontaneous sharing. Additionally, identifying and participating in children's hobbies, even if they differ from one's own interests, can strengthen the bond between parent and child. Lastly, making the effort to carve out dedicated one-on-one time with each child annually can foster a deeper connection and understanding.
In today’s episode, we kick off our special 3-part series where we’ll be answering your questions about the Future of Work.
Today is all about time management, knowing when to fire people, and why young people should choose the office over remote work. We first hear from a CEO who is struggling with work-life balance and managing difficult legacy employees. Then, Scott gives recommendations to a listener who has too much time on their hands. Finally, we hear how to best approach hybrid work.
