There are a lot of Americans who've been struggling for a long time and they've given up. They're not included at all as though they don't count. So when we say unemployment without cleaving off black unemployment, what you're saying is we miss a ton. You actually do have to get into that level of specifics to understand what's happening with this very large and important racial group in the US.
