Using incentives like the claw back method to improve performance

At the beginning of the school year, some teachers receive a bonus for their students' performance. If the students don't perform well, the teachers have to give part of the bonus back. This incentive motivates the teachers and their students to work harder. The same strategy is used by the speaker with their own children, offering rewards for certain behaviors.
