Code should be considered worthless and easily removable, even though we tend to value and cling to every line of code we write. This attachment to code leads to problems, such as outdated operating systems and massive code bases. By acknowledging code's worthlessness, we can see its true value in the long run and avoid being too tightly integrated with it.
