Bass sounds are low frequency sounds. Usually we talk about noise in the mid range of the frequencies. If you live above a bar or a music establishment, you not only hear the bass, but if you are lying in bed, you will feel it. The laws that have been passed to regulate the sound levels of wind turbines have ignored the low base. And so you find a great uproar from citizens living with turbines saying they don't want them.
The pandemic provided city dwellers with a break from the din of the modern world. Now the noise is coming back. What does that mean for our productivity, health, and basic sanity?
