Texts Are Doomed to Disappear Without Preservation

Historical texts, particularly those prior to the printing press, faced inevitable extinction due to their physical vulnerabilities. Without significant effort, funding, and passion directed toward preservation, such works were always at risk of being lost to time, irrespective of their cultural significance or notoriety.
