The Different Perspectives on Multitasking
Multitasking, although generally seen negatively, can have benefits for certain individuals who have the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively. Most studies show that traditional multitasking, constantly shifting attention between tasks, strains the brain. However, there is a small percentage of people called super taskers who can successfully multitask. These individuals embrace flexibility and freedom in their approach. Bob Johansson from the Institute of the Future predicts that the future workforce will involve continuous partial attention, where people seamlessly switch between phone, email, and other tasks. However, there is a limit to the helpfulness of multitasking.
