The Church's unintended consequences and the uncanny situation with Islam

Contraception and abortion taboo in the Church led to out of wedlock births and abandonment of children to church-run orphanages. Predatory men took advantage of the situation. While there is no direct link between Christian scripture and child rape, imagine if there were. This is the situation we find ourselves in with respect to Islam. The problem is that the doctrines supporting jihadist violence can be easily found in the Quran, Hadith, and the biography of Muhammad.
