Communicating across misconceptions

When you look at the literature behind using misconceptions for conceptual change, the only way to challenge some one's misconception is by sharing the misconception with them. So you share both sides. You could think this, or you could think that, and then they have to make a decision. O ok, which one do i believe more? Now they are likely to side with their misconception. But it opens up the question then, as you go through explaining different ideas, different other questions,. They can then go actually hold on em an it. I don't know if my original answer was right, and that's all, that's all. Ye yan.
