In verse 14, his confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. TheKing of terrors is death. Life is typically long enough and hard enough truly humble us. As i've said to my son in his sufferings, life has to be hard enough to convince us that we couldn't make it through it on our own. That's what Jesus did for me.
