Partamento in Music Education

We wanted to add more to our classroom experience, so we included over 50 examples of rule of the octave and partamento exercises from various sources like fennoroli, handle lessons, long-glows manuscript, and pescuini. Pescuini is one of our favorites. Partamento is a historical way to learn counterpoint, often seen as a primer for written counterpoint. We first heard about it from Heurding and Insanguinevie, and Peter Ventura has a great book on counterpoint.
