Theocracy in America
The idea of uniting humans and machines like a cyborg or uniting spiritual and temporal power like a theocracy is not representative of America. While it may be tempting for leaders to control in such ways, the US has different rules and fundamental understandings of humanity. There are limitations on the usage of algorithms to ensure they are not biased in areas like risk assessment, surveillance, predictive policing, and forensic analysis, which are intended to keep people safe.
