NOTE

Radial Access and Pre-Procedure Testing in Clinic

In clinic, pre-procedure testing like barbell test is conducted to assess suitability for radial access procedures. Height is not considered a factor due to the availability of various catheter sizes, typically starting from 1.6 millimeters. A, B, and C barbell classifications are accepted for radial access procedures. If radial access is challenging, switching to brachial access is considered. Patients are advised to undergo MRI and endometrial biopsy, although ultrasound is increasingly seen as a suitable alternative to expensive MRIs for certain cases.
