NOTE

Optimizing Nap Conditions

To improve the likelihood of falling asleep for a nap, create optimal conditions by blocking out noise and light with an eye mask, using earplugs, and setting up a sound machine if desired. Remove shoes and cover yourself with a blanket for a familiar sleeping environment. Mimic nighttime conditions, including setting an alarm to avoid oversleeping. Time your nap around your natural post-prandial drop, typically in the afternoon.
