Living a Godly Life in Christ

In 2 Peter 1 verse 5, Peter urges Christians to diligently add moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love in their faith. He emphasizes that these qualities, when manifested, make believers fruitful followers of Jesus. By looking to Christ as an example, Christians can exhibit self-control, moral excellence, brotherly love, and obedience to God because they are in Christ.
