The Value of Collaboration in Work Processes
Collaboration is often conceptualized as involving multiple individuals working together, but it can also be effectively achieved by individuals working independently yet being supported by a collaborative system. The success of a work project can be attributed to how well individuals collaborate with the existing infrastructure and how others respect their boundaries. True collaboration lies in respecting and supporting each other's work processes rather than interrupting or commandeering. Results should be the primary focus in collective work to ensure efficiency and avoid unnecessary social interactions that may not contribute to the end goal.
