The Value of Being True to Yourself
Being true to oneself is important, even though the world tends to reward specialization over generalization. Despite the potential setbacks of pursuing multiple interests, denying one's true nature is not a smart strategy. Although specialization may have led to greater success, being passionate about multiple topics is an inherent part of oneself that should not be dismissed.
