Emerging Persona and Skillset in AI Product Teams

Building AI products requires a new type of persona with a skillset that combines ML engineering, full stack development, and product focus. There is a shift towards using JavaScript and front-end tools over traditional Python-heavy ML and MLOps stacks. The AI engineer plays a part in a larger product AI team, and when staffing such a team, a mix of skill sets including AI engineering is essential particularly in the MVP stage.
