Effort and Group Size: The Wringlemet Effect

Working together may not always produce the best work if the team is not highly effective and performing. The paradox of scale suggests that individual effort tends to decline as the group size increases, known as the wringlement effect. This phenomenon could explain why many individuals become disengaged in large organizations compared to small ones, as people may not put in as much effort in larger group settings.
