Corporate Sustainability Programs in Ghana and Ivory Coast
Many big chocolate companies and cocoa buyers in general have corporate sustainability programs. Nisley's new pilot program paints farmers like Tana not just for diversifying, but also for pruning their cocoa trees. Other companies like Mondele who own Cadbury and Toblerone have announced their own Corporate Sustainability Programs. But the head of the Coffee and Cocoa Council says he thinks this is a lie.
