How Does Equity Compensation Work?

i think an interesting place whre itworks, wen, i wrote a piece on this while back, was in a intact because of equity compensation. So if te companies, if the stocks are doing well, then people start to figure out that you are gettig a better base salary,. and b, making a ton of money on your equity if you work at a big tech company. And so those companies get their pick of talented people. Then if you have an industry where everyone in your supply chain is pretty smart and ambitious, then things happen really fast.
