Immediate blood sugar spikes from consuming high-energy foods are not a concern if they quickly return to normal levels. Monitoring blood sugar like individuals with diabetes do is unnecessary for the average person, as it is akin to weighing oneself after every meal and adjusting diet based on immediate weight changes.
