In some occultist movements, sex magic was considered sacred and not sinful, representing a prototype of sex positivism. Sexual mysticism and sorcery are integral parts of witchcraft, often symbolically performed by plunging a knife into a chalice. This practice dates back centuries and is deeply rooted in the history of witchcraft.
