The struggle with mental health can lead to feelings of self-shame and negative self-talk, making it hard to believe that someone will love us for who we truly are. As a result, individuals may feel the need to overshare in order to justify their behavior or experiences, leading to being too vulnerable too soon. However, this doesn't mean that struggling with mental health should be kept a secret.
Two of the most noteworthy elements of our 20s are dating and our experiences with mental health. They also interact - our mental health will influence how we date, how we deal with rejection, how we meet new people, and subsequently, our dating experiences can have a profound impact on our mental health.
