People should be respected as individuals with their own choices, not treated like machines. The complexity and autonomy of individuals lead to the best outcomes. Oftentimes, central planners make the mistake of treating people mechanistically, when in reality, we are dynamic and unpredictable. It is important to have a reverence for emergent reality and understand that nature's spontaneous outcomes are superior to any central plan. Economic laws should be viewed like natural laws, such as gravity, which cannot be adjusted. Instead, we must adjust to them and use them to our advantage.
