Air Pollution and Alzheimer's Disease
Air pollution increases the risk for a variety of age-related diseases in addition to just you know respiratory disease Alzheimer's disease. There have been some postmortem studies that have looked at amyloid plaques in their brain and it's just like looks like an old person's brain in a young child with poor air quality. So if you live somewhere close to a busier street or a highway where there's likely to be more particulate matter and air pollution and benzene it's very difficult to control the air you're breathing in.
