Growing up in a family where entrepreneurship through acquisition was a common topic laid a foundational understanding of the search fund model. After completing college, the desire to achieve success while making a positive impact led to eight years of experience in clean technology and clean energy, predominantly in Boston. This experience paved the way for pursuing further education at Carnegie Mellon, where fundraising for a search fund occurred concurrently with personal milestones, such as the birth of a first child. Ultimately, this journey culminated in acquiring Ascend Software 15 months into the search process.
