Ownership in the Digital Age and Shared Mobility
In the digital age, when we buy access to digital content, we technically never own it, and the manufacturer retains ownership. They have the ability to change the content at any time, resulting in a different product than what we initially purchased. The concept extends to shared mobility services like scooters, bikes, and cars, where individuals do not own the vehicles. Instead, companies or communities own and make them available for use through apps, creating a model where nobody owns the cars, and in some instances, it's suggested that the cars even 'own themselves'.
