The Primary Cause of Burnout: What's Missing in Your Life

Burnout is caused by what's missing from our lives, not what's present. When stress increases at work, we stop doing things that make us happy and healthy. We work long hours, sacrifice sleep, neglect relationships, and ignore our nutrition. We mistakenly believe that the things we're doing are causing burnout, but it's actually the absence of activities that kept us balanced. To assess our current state, we need to identify what's missing.
