Diversifying with ETFs in Investment Portfolio

Investor shares that most of their money is in open-end funds but has recently added a couple of ETFs to diversify their portfolio. They own T-RO Price Capital Appreciation, now available as an equity-only ETF, and Vanguard Dividend High Yield Index, a dividend-focused index fund, for a pure value play with significant yield focus.
