The Tension Between Success and Happiness
We often sacrifice our happiness for the pursuit of success, thinking that success will bring us happiness. However, success does not guarantee happiness. Instead of constantly chasing success, we should focus on what truly makes us happy. While external validation is important, we should not overcomplicate our lives in the pursuit of success. There is a simpler way to achieve happiness. Simon Sinek popularized the concept of finite and infinite games, where finite games have specific players, rules, and outcomes, while infinite games have no set endpoint.
