Critical Thinking in Consuming Information

The abundance of information and opinions available in society has led to a decline in critical thinking. Many people are too lazy to apply the content they consume to their lives, which hinders progress. This lack of critical thinking is evident in the tendency to unquestioningly follow celebrities' opinions on complex topics. Despite the wealth of information, the world isn't universally happy and successful because people have surrendered their capacity for critical thinking. Consuming content without applying critical thinking can become a substitute for actual progress.
