When feeling there is a problem, reflect on if you are withdrawing into self-absorption and explore underlying emotions. Recognize self-absorption with a focus on 'me' in internal commentary. Acknowledge the vulnerability and panic behind the self-absorption. Embrace a simultaneous awareness and compassion approach by being honest with one's experience and showing kindness towards all that arises.
