Birth is the process of creating a self, while death is the process of ceasing to think of oneself as a self. This deconstruction can be challenging and scary, but ultimately, it means nothing to the self once it is gone. At this stage, you may question your own thinking process and make an effort to create comprehensive maps and models of reality. However, the ego's hope of constructing a grand theory of everything is futile.
