There's a quote that from Milton Friedman that he attributes to Aristotle. He says, when everyone owns everything, no one takes care of anything. If everyone's doing what they want who's going to do the unpleasant jobs? The empirical data points again, going back to the Soviet Union there were people starving and food rotting in the fields at the same time. This is the problem so mises took a totally different tack he took the economic calculation tag.
