Originalism: A Radical Approach to Interpreting the Constitution

The Supreme Court currently has a six vote super majority and is making rulings based on originalism which is a radical approach to interpreting the Constitution./nOriginalism means interpreting the Constitution only as it was meant at the time of ratification, which means governing based on the social views of property-owning white men during a time when marginalized groups had no rights./nThis turn back the clock approach has not been the Supreme Court's previous method of ruling for the past two centuries, and its implications are only now becoming clear.
