The Importance of Questioning and Discarding Fixed Knowledge

The need to discard bad thinking and constantly push into new novel areas is crucial. Rather than assuming fixed knowledge, it is essential to think in terms of the propensity of something happening and to question and experiment to verify knowledge. There is a necessity to understand the conditions and context that lead to the birth and demise of what is perceived as truth, and to constantly falsify what is considered universalizable. This approach is fundamental to having a good scientific method and the basis of philosophical inquiry.
