Ethereum Foundation Reorganization
The Ethereum Foundation reorganized to better deliver on community and core developer priorities, particularly scaling. Previously, autonomous teams operated somewhat independently. The reorganization aims to create stronger internal cohesion, leveraging the collective expertise of research and development teams. By eliminating the boundary between research and development, the foundation seeks tighter integration where research directly informs scaling proposals. This includes administrative changes and new teams focused on prototyping and ZKVM development, ultimately speeding up the transition from research to production and improving network security and testing.
