The vilification of dedicated leaders underscores a troubling trend where accountability is misplaced, framing human agents as villains instead of acknowledging the real challenge — the virus itself. This scenario reflects a cultural phenomenon akin to 'negative solidarity,' where individuals unite against perceived threats instead of addressing the root cause of societal issues.
