The goal for each product at Datadog is to be the best in its category over time. While entering established categories with high stakes and numerous features is challenging, Datadog's strategy involves integration within a broad platform approach. By offering a fully integrated platform where products share a user base, it becomes compelling for customers to adopt the entire suite. This approach started with solving for a specific buyer set through additional products and gradually expanded into different buyer sets.
