Persistence and continuous engagement are vital, as it may take a year or two to establish meaningful dialogues and connections. Structure conversations carefully, listen attentively to their needs, and avoid making interactions binary to ensure long-term engagement. Cultivating trustful relationships with government counterparts and stakeholders is essential for achieving systemic change and sustainability in interventions.

The second season of the Ashoka Systems Change podcast explores how social entrepreneurs can effectively work with governments to improve systems together.
