Creating a theoretical cloak of black holes around the body would result in essentially creating one big black hole. Inside the cloak, time could stand still as there would be an event horizon surrounding the interior. However, forming a Le Grange point of black holes where they are stable and in equilibrium could potentially allow for time manipulation by being at the central point where the event horizons touch but do not tug. This concept raises valuable questions about time manipulation and the interaction of black holes.
Are black holes places or objects? Neil deGrasse Tyson and cohosts Chuck Nice and Gary O’Reilly answer grab-bag questions about distorting spacetime, Olbers’ Paradox, singularities, the shape of the universe, and more with astrophysicist Charles Liu.
