This is the story of a baby elephant that is restrained with a stake and a piece of twine. Despite initially struggling, the baby elephant eventually accepts its inability to escape. As it grows into a powerful beast, it never attempts to break free because it still believes the stake and twine have control over it.
When they are very little, baby elephants are often tied to a stake and conditioned to think they can't pull it out and move, even after they've gotten big enough to do so. They just accept their limitations. Andy Frisella says too many men and women are like that.
