When someone is truly desirous of something, impatience is a natural result. Patience or impatience doesn't matter as both lead to anxiety. Impatience is a result of human beings seeking reward. Impatience can drive someone to take action and get somewhere, but it is not prescriptive. It is not advisable to intentionally try to be impatient. What people truly want creates impatience, which can be a motivating force. However, impatience should not be chosen deliberately.
