Russia's Plan to Sell Oil to India for Rupees It Can't Spend

India's current oil crisis is causing concerns in Russia. India has been exporting oil obtained from Russia and paying for it in blocked rupees. However, Russia can only use these rupees to purchase limited Indian goods, leading to a surplus of rupees. With India shifting its alliance towards the United States, Russia is unsure if it should continue selling oil to India. This situation has also prompted Pakistan to consider applying for BRICS Plus membership.
